Shattered World

A self-set project to learn environment concepting in Unreal Engine and Gaea, utilising Megascans and my assets. I went with a sci-fi vista, with an air of mystery towards a strange object shattered into the landscape. I normally lean heavily towards sci-fi, but I wanted a bit more of a fantastical element to this piece - is it alien technology or some magical artefact? Did it create the world, or did it crash into it and is slowly breaking apart?
Like some of the best movies, it's more fun for the audience to imagine some of the details than to be told what it is.
